Stampin' Up! Elegant Happiness Card

This beautiful card is today's Simply Stampin' Sunday card.  Okay, so there is some paper-cutting and piecing involved, but I'm promise the hardest part about it is deciding which paper patterns to use.  After that, it's a breeze to put together.  I really love how it turned out.  I wasn't sure about not using dies, but they aren't always necessary.  Sometimes, simplicity is what is needed-let the paper do the talking.

Card base: 4.25" x 11", scored at 5.5"
Layer: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" (Whisper White)
3 coordinating pieces of DSP: 5.25" x 1.25" (mine ended up being 5 3/16" long)
Sentiment layer: 3" x 2 3/8"
Whisper White for stamping: 2 7/8" x 2.25"
Ink: Petal Pink and Basic Grey
Embellishments: Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Rhinestone Basic Jewels

Stampin' Up! Timeless Tropical Split Card

I'm so excited to share this project!  I watched a fellow demonstrator, Rebecka Smith, do a FB Live on this technique, using the new Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set.  I don't have that set yet, but I immediately thought of the flowers and leaves from Timeless Tropical and how I had wanted to do a card using embossing with those stamps.  I decided to merge the two techniques, and this is the result.  I just love them!

The photos don't really do them justice at all.

They are so pretty!
