Stampin' Up! Forever Greenery Friendship Card

This suite is SO pretty!  I have been hoarding it.  For me, it's just one of those that you have to take out and look at all of the elements a few times to get past the prettiness and wrap your mind around the possibilities.  I should have just jumped in and started creating simple things, but I just got so overwhelmed.  It finally all came together for me, though, with this card.  I love how it's so easy to create something so elegant!

So, in the video I struggle a little with the sentiment.  In my sample, I used two different die sets, but I wanted to streamline for you and just use one.  I finally figured it out, but I used a little trick that allows you to adjust the size of the element cut out by a die, to better fit your stamp set.  I really think I should have made the die-cut a little taller so that it would go with the gold banners a little better.  They don't quite fit.  Below is my sample card.  That staggered height between the banner and the sentiment piece is what I was going for.  It's a really fun technique.  Check out my video and then try it yourself.  Let me know how it goes!  It really opens up a lot of possibilities for your creativity.

Stampin Up! Fun Picnic Table Cloth Card

I love this card so much!  I mean, how cute is this?  I can't believe I have had this stamp this entire time, and this never occurred to me.  As soon as I picked it up, I was like, "Oh, in Real Red, this would be like a picnic table cloth."  I knew I had to try it.  At first, I was disappointed with the fact that it looks aged but almost immediately changed my mind.  It's like the table cloth has aged from use-by having fun times with friends and family.  I love that!

Card base:  5.5" x 11", scored at 4.25"
Stamped Layer: 5 3/8" x 4 1/8"

Sentiment Layer:  7/8" x 3.75"

Ink:  Real Red and Memento Tuxedo Black

Stampin' Up! Seabed Tiny Keepsake Box

This is one of my favorite dies!  It is SO versatile and never disappoints.  You can use solid cardstock, DSP, dry embossed cardstock, stamped backgrounds, or do what I did and combine some of those together.

Here is a photo of the sheet I did the other day.  It wasn't quite large enough for this project, so I made another one in the video.  All I did was use sponge daubers to apply ink to my Seabed 3D embossing folder and then run it through my Big Shot on Whisper White cardstock.  It's so beautiful!

Then, I used the Whale Done stamp set and the Whale of a Time sequins to create this adorable tag.  The part that took the longest was sponge daubing the ink onto the embossing folder, but there was nothing difficult about this project at all and look how cute.

Treat box:  6" x 6" Whisper White
Dies:  Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box
Stamps:  Whale Done
Ink:  Rich Razzleberry, Just Jade, Pretty Peacock, Calypso Coral, Bumblebee, Melon Mambo, Shaded Spruce, and Balmy Blue
Embellishments:  Whale of a Time sequins and Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine (retired)
Other:  Sponge Daubers

Stampin' Up! Mini Sunflower Post-it Holder

Here's a little sunshine for you to share!  This tiny post-it holder is super easy. You can make a bunch of them in a short amount of time and get some sunshine spread all over the place.

This one is the one I did in the video, with the sunflower stamped with So Saffron ink.  I really like how it looks in the picture much better than the one I stamped with Bumblebee.

Here are both side-by-side.  I really like the richness of the Bumblebee ink on the right, but I don't like the center or the leaves as much.  I'm going to keep working on perfecting this one.  I know there will be a happy medium somewhere.  I'll find it.  :)

Here is the one I made a couple of weeks ago as a bonus.  So cute!  I love our new in-colors, but I am really going to miss the ones that just left.  This is all Pineapple Punch.  I'm so sad that I didn't get ink refills or extra paper.  I'll have to plan better next time.  lol

Base:  DSP 1.75" x 6", punch with Delightful Tag Topper punch on one end and corner-round the other end; score landscape at 1.75", 2", 4", and 4.25"
Ink:  Bumblebee (for stamping), Soft Suede Dark and Old Olive Dark (for coloring)
Stamps: Celebrate Sunflowers and Under my Umbrella
Dies:  Sunflower dies
Other: mini post-it notes, velcro dots, Wink of Stella
