Stampin' Up! Garden Lane Friend

Today's card is from a challenge that another demonstrator in our team came up with. The challenge was to use a base that measures 4 1/4" x 11", a 3 3/4" x 5" embossed layer, a 3" x 4 1/4" piece of DSP, a stitched shape, a 1 1/4" x 4 1/4" banner, a scrap for your sentiment, and some bling, twine, or ribbon for embellishment. Here is what I came up with!

I had never used the Mossy Meadow card stock before the challenge card I made for Lisa Marie last night on my Live, and I really love it. I was drawn right to it with this pretty DSP pack that uses all of our greens. It's called Garden Lane, and I can foresee a lot of pretty projects coming out of it. I'm thinking that the new Ornate Garden Suite dies and sentiments will work well with this paper as well.

"Friend" was stamped using the Daisy Lane cling stamp set with Mossy Meadow ink. Look how fine and neat the print is! I just love the quality of our stamps!

Here is a shot of the inside of the card. It was stamped from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set, which matches the Flourish Thinlets dies that I used to cut the leaves out of vellum for the front. I used the tone-on-tone technique, stamping with Soft Sea Foam ink on my Soft Sea Foam card base. So cute!
