Stampin' Up! Tiny Treat Tent

I love this cute little treat tent!  It's so versatile.  It can be used for almost every occasion and can be decorated however you please.  It's the perfect size for a Ghirardelli chocolate square.

Cut card stock, in coordinating color to DSP, 6" x 3.25".  Score portrair at 1/2" on each side and landscape at 2.25", 4.5", and 5.5".  Burnish each scoreline with bone folder.

Cut into the landscape scorelines on as far as the 1/2" score lines on each side.  Trim the 1/2" sides off of the flap and use a corner rounder to finish the corners of the flap for a more professional look.  Trim the edges of the side flaps by cutting a slight diagonal at each far end. Then cut out a triangular shape at the 2.5" mark (at the opposite end from the flap) that will allow you to close the tent properly with a treat inside.  See diagram.

Use a 2 1/8" x 2 1/8" piece of designer series paper as a base layer.  Layer the 1 7/8" stitched circle, in Whisper White, onto the 2" circle scallop in the same color card stock you used for the "tent."  Stamp or embellish as desired and attach using dimensionals.  I "fussy cut" a bird and some flowers out of a couple of the sheets of Bird Ballad DSP.  Ribbon can be used to decorate and hold the treat inside, if you cut the triangle pieces from the side flaps at too great an angle.

Get creative and have some fun with this one!
